Simon Ridge

Founder, Managing Director and hands-on member of the team, Simon Ridge is a Chartered Accountant who completed his MBA at Wits Business School.  With over 20 years’ experience, Simon has worked in small and large companies, and groups of companies, listed and unlisted, as well as non-profit organisations.

He has headed up the functions of finance, operations, IT, human resources, strategy and general management across a range of industries including entertainment, business and personal services, travel and manufacturing.  He has set up accounting divisions from scratch, trained and mentored financial managers, been part of a start-up team for a South African subsidiary of a multi-national group, and has successfully built up his own company in the staffing industry.

He has held strategic, commercial and operational roles and with a proven track record in developing and executing strategy with a focus on commercial and business development and the expansion of income streams, cost reductions, cash flow management, working capital optimisation, business process improvement and compliance, with the overall objective of adding value to the business.  He not only offers passion, experience and business acumen, but also a hands-on service. Simon also heads up Virtual CFO, a sister company that offers part-time financial management solutions.
